Paraon is quitebased. It was truly a brilliant strategy to utilize Beramus' status as the son of the lord for negotiating purposes. Considering his father's demise, he should rightfully assume the role of the next lord. Perhaps a gradual integration of monsters into the human population could have been explored further, but alas, it seems the manga was cut off prematurely. I wonder if such a development had already taken place in the source material.

I had a feeling they were going to give it a shot and try to convince the human soldiers. Realistically speaking, though, it seems highly unlikely, especially considering Liza's betrayal and her ensuring that they would be ambushed. I doubt they would be of much use once they're turned, considering their inherent weakness. However, I suppose the crucial benefit lies in the fact that the enemy numbers would be diminished.
