What I find enjoyable about the story is that it portrays the relationship between the two races in a realistic way, without automatically assuming they would get along. It reflects the challenges we humans face when we don't understand each other's languages, hindering our ability to build relationships. I appreciate how the story emphasizes the existence of different languages between the races. On the other hand, my criticism of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" is not only the fact that all monsters can understand and communicate with each other but also the lack of tensions between different races as they adapt to living together, despite their past enmity.

Magic is too convenient in this universe. Also, I'm kind of glad it's that way because although I appreciate being shown the step-by-step process of making cement or what to build a house; that seems to not fit in this kind of story.

I was surprised that his sister Delarosa had an affinity for magic; not exactly the kind of personality that is associated with mages. Reminds me of Charlotte from "As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World". Their personalities differ but they also have their similarities.

I understand your perspective. It seems like if the main character were to be reborn as a Goblin, it might draw similarities to the concept of "Re: Monster." However, I believe would have been more intriguing if the main character were to be reborn as a different monster instead. By knowing the requirements for evolution, the main character could assist others in evolving and strengthening their territory. It can be disappointing to see others in the story evolve while the main character, being a human, may not possess the same affinity for evolution. It appears that humans in this story show progress through physical changes such as height, muscle growth, and an increased mana pool, while other races exhibit more distinct physical differences due to evolution.

I checked out that one, but stopped reading when I caught up. It's a light and easy read, you know? Just like many stories of this genre, the challenges introduced are quickly resolved in the next few chapters, making it a smooth ride. But hey, this other story seems intriguing too! It's a bummer that it's already been abandoned, but I still want to give it a go. It seems like the perfect read for when I have some free time on my hands and nothing else to do.
