Barbosa and his hamsterball maneuver made me chuckle. It's interesting how the monsters he's facing remind you of Cull Obsidian from the Black Order under Thanos. However, it does feel a bit off to witness our side characters fighting alone and being outnumbered. I mean there should be a larger force fighting alongside the village, and the monsters' numbers should ideally be limited.

Nice to see Delarosa utilizing magic in her melee combat. It truly suits her personality and adds an extra layer of depth to her character. On another note, that long-range dark skull magic is undeniably intense and has a certain metal vibe to it. However, I find myself torn in the middle. While I appreciate its dark and awe-inspiring nature, I don't particularly wish to see someone's demise just to witness whether it melts flesh or metal.

The tides have indeed shifted. The melee fighters may need to step in soon. After all, Paraon couldn't even defeat a single lizardman, which suggests that the other monsters are equally formidable. Without additional melee assistance, the human knights would eventually dwindle in numbers.

Paraon is quitebased. It was truly a brilliant strategy to utilize Beramus' status as the son of the lord for negotiating purposes. Considering his father's demise, he should rightfully assume the role of the next lord. Perhaps a gradual integration of monsters into the human population could have been explored further, but alas, it seems the manga was cut off prematurely. I wonder if such a development had already taken place in the source material.

I had a feeling they were going to give it a shot and try to convince the human soldiers. Realistically speaking, though, it seems highly unlikely, especially considering Liza's betrayal and her ensuring that they would be ambushed. I doubt they would be of much use once they're turned, considering their inherent weakness. However, I suppose the crucial benefit lies in the fact that the enemy numbers would be diminished.
