Good to see strategy being used to overcome such a strong enemy; how the Cyclops was defeated was such a brutal sight. I was surprised they didn't go cut it up to eat; I mean it's such a waste of meat and it should be fair to evolve to eat the flesh of such a strong being.

Seeing them all work together without depending on the main character to save the day was seriously awesome. Props to the author for throwing in an obstacle that was tough to tackle but didn't require the protagonist's presence at all. Instead, it called for everyone to join forces and show off their collective strength, like a super intense team-building exercise.

Why do I feel like this villain is a tsundere chick and will become part of the gang in the future? It does seem rather convenient that the dealers didn't question the true identity of the main character's father. Considering that the Mithril Turtle is a powerful dragon and I assume the Spiked Snake holds a similar level of power, it is strange that such valuable materials are entrusted to a young boy. One would think that they would at least send a spy or take further precautions. Surprisingly, there wasn't a haggling scene, but I suppose it makes sense since the main character is just a boy and may not be fully aware of how the current currency works due to the time that has passed since his reincarnation. The presence of those creatures does seem rather convenient. It almost feels as if the author simply decided to showcase the fighting skills of the main character and introduce them on the road. It is peculiar that we have no prior knowledge of such creatures, and even more so that they weren't engaged in a battle when the main character approached. Just weird seeing these imposing monsters seemingly act like opps jumping my boy.
